Cost
The price, and the part people ask about afterwards
Running a conversion is open to anyone. Downloading the result is what a subscription is for, so the number matters before you start rather than after.
Canada
- First 7 days: C$2.99
- then C$13.99 a month until you cancel
- or C$69.99 a year
Prices in CAD. Taxes are added at checkout.
The first week is a one-time intro price, offered once per customer. After it, the subscription renews monthly until it is cancelled, and an annual plan is there instead if the monthly cadence does not suit.
How the billing behaves
- The first week is a one-time intro price, then it renews monthly until you cancel
- The intro week is offered once per customer
- An annual plan is available instead of monthly
Cancelling
Two clicks inside the account. There is also a cancel page that does not ask you to log in, which is the one to use if the account was set up in a hurry and the password went wherever those go.
If you want out
- Cancelling takes two clicks in your account, and there is a cancel page that needs no login
On your statement
The charge does not read as the name of the site you are reading. It reads as the payment processor's line, which is worth knowing before you go looking for an unfamiliar entry.
What to look for
- Payment is handled by Stripe; the charge on your statement reads LINK.COM* PDFORA
There is no free tier
Said plainly because the alternative is finding out at the download button.
The limits of the model
- Offer a free plan — there is an intro week, then the monthly or annual price
- Let you download the result without a subscription — running the tool is open to everyone, the download is not
